If after your upgrade to version 1.0.5.4 you are gettinga message “Sorry. My blog is locked down. Updates will appear shortly” that has stopped your blog from displaying, you need to re-download the package from wordpress.org and overwrite your installed copy of awpcp.php with the one in the newly downloaded package.
Nothing has happened to your blog. Forgot to remove a line from the file that was there for testing configuring the plugin to not display if you are using wp_super_cache and your blog is in lockdown mode. Sorry for any scare.
Again, just re-download the package and overwrite your installed copy of awpcp.php with the one in the newly downloaded package. That should get rid of the message and allow your page to load.
