Is there a way I can limit the number of ads someone can post? I need to limit 1 ad per user only. It seems there is no limit to post ads in the current release.

Hello,
We recently set up your plugin and it works and looked great however we had a problem that I wanted to see if anyone else had. Once it was installed all of our post content doubled. If you opened any post the info was in their twice. Once I deactivated the plugin, it went away. I searched everywhere trying to find out what would cause this but found nothing. We love the plugin and want to use it, can you tell me as anyone else reported that issue and if so, what causes it?

Mahalo!

Hello, I love your plugin. But is it possible to remove the option to contact the ad poster? I worry about spammers sending through the form and really don't need that option at this time anyway.
Thank you for the great plugin!!!

Armando, there are people currently using the plugin with WPMU and also with buddypress. So far no reports of across the board compatibility issues.

SVP, thank you for your comments but there is no need for you to be editing the file. There are options in the admin for you to set the correct path if the default does not work for your site. The instructions you've provided will actually not work for everyone because the location of the data is dependent upon their url structure. Please see http://www.awpcp.com/about/pages/ - read through the individual pages as they relate to your issue. You only need to go to your admin page under Manage General Options-> SEO Settings, and fill in the correct path as it relates to your site. No need to edit any code.

Actually the correct way to handle what SVP mentions about the ad ID issue is to use the SEO Path setting option under Manage General Settings following the instructions outlined in http://www.awpcp.com/about/pages/show-ad/
No need to edit the code. The same goes for the contact page and any other page that seems to be misbehaving. Just check under http://www.awpcp.com/about/pages/ and read up the info for which ever page is giving the problem. Figure out the correct path value ( It will not be the same for everyone), Go to your admin dashboard and enter the value in the text box.

I forgot the filename; it is awpcp.php. Anyway, the change must be applied in several places, not only at line 10000. Without it, you won't be able to contact a poster and any other feature that implies a single ad :-(.

In SEO mode, the ad display page may not get the correct ad ID. If you get an empty ad, change at line ~10.000 from ' $adid=$awpcpsplitshowadPath[$pathvalueshowad];' to ' $adid=$awpcpsplitshowadPath[$pathvalueshowad-1];'

Good luck!

Hello,

Your plugin seems to be nothing but awesome. Its features are great; however, I was wondering whether they run the same over a WPMU platform as it does on standard WP.

Please, let me know what should be your approach to this.

Love the plugin and currently testing on my site. It would be good if Optional Fields could be customised to suit my site better. Working well at the present time.
