To add a new category, go to Classifieds->Categories to load the page AWPCP Classifieds Management System Categories Management. On that page you will see the box on your left where you can add a new category.

Enter the category name, select the parent category (If the category is intended to be a parent/top level/main category then leave the option set to “Save as top level category”, otherwise, assuming you have already added top level categories, select one of your already added categories to be the parent of the new category.

**Note: Only your main categories can be parents.

Once you have entered your category name and made a selection from the “List category under” drop down box, simply press the “Add New Category” button to add the new category.
