Payment Thank You

The Payment Thank You Page is the page displayed after the user returns from PayPal or 2Checkout. Provided everything went well, the page displays a thank you message above a sample of the customer’s ad.

The page relies on a piece of data saved in the URL to determine which ad ID it should look up for displaying the sample ad and sending the notification emails. In SEO Mode this data will not be located in the same position on every website therefore, the default setting for the “Payment Thank You” page under the SEO Settings tab in “Manage General Options” will not work for everyone.

If you find you are having problems after a payment has been made, for example you are taken to a blank page with no thank you message and no sample ad or you are taken to a 404 page, the likely culprit is your SEO Setting value for the “Payment Thank You” page. You need to figure out where in the URL the data the plugin needs is stored and adjust the value as needed.

The data needed by the plugin using the above example URL is in Position #2; therefore, you should have [2] in your path value setting on the SEO Settings page for the setting shown below:

If the payment thank you page is not working in seo mode it means the path the plugin is using is not correct. Change the until the correct path is found. Start at 1
