Limiting ad text
To control the length of text in ads go to your classifieds admin options and click the Ads/Listings Settings tab. From the Ads/Listings page, look for and change:
What is the maximum number of characters the text of an ad can contain?
The default value is 750 characters which includes spaces. Change the default value to your preferred value. If you need a visual example of 750 characters, the below graphical excerpt from “The Scarlet Pimpernel” is 871 characters (with spaces).
